The signs of a nation's culture include language, clothing, land, customs, etc. Clothing represents the national and cultural symbols of the nation and is considered their ancient heritage. Clothing is one of the most obvious symbols of culture, the most important and characteristic national appearance and one of the fastest signs of cultural transfer and quickly influences the phenomena of cultural demands among different human societies.
Every nation in Iran has its own different clothes, but Kurdish clothes are one of the most beautiful and colorful clothes and have won first place in several international festivals.
The history of Kurdish clothing goes back to the history of the Kurdish nation and has changed less and has preserved its authenticity and purity.
The oldest images of Kurdish clothing date back to the Achaemenid period. The Mayan helmets are still used in most parts of Kurdistan.
Kurdish clothing is made according to the natural area in which Kurds live.
